l'invitation à la danse

Who doubts
the healing powers of the wind?

A soothing wind
will dry the skin
of a stressed or overworked
body.

It will eliminate pearls of anguish
on the forehead
of a the man
with a questing soul.

Like a kiss,
it is felt on the surface
but it's effect
may be reaching deep,
down,
to the core.

Imagine yourself
contemplating
a tree in it's stillness:

See it's pride,
it's majestic and monolithic
presence.

Add the wind,
it is now scintillating,
alive,
with music,
movement,
plying strength
and fortitude.

The wind soothes and reveal.

It carries the pollen
of love
as well.

Sometimes,
by way of magic,
it brings the lover
to his (her)
true love.

We know how Zephir
swept Psychae off her feet
and delivered her
to the son of Venus.

Indeed,
this benevolent wind
is gentle
and does note rate high
on the Beaufort scale.

It is playful like a dolphin
but may equally
trigger a gale
in a passionate heart.

Listen to its music
and  breath with it.
Breath it through your dance.
