Tango and the
inspiratum project

inspiratum  is a project for teaching the fundamentals of argentine tango with a special emphasis on the connection, musicality and the capacity to project one's dancing in his (her)  partner's body  allowing emotions  to surface and spontaneity to bloom. This way of dancing looks for depth, density and fosters both a meditative and playful quality.
The resulting dance would be totally improvised, true to the moment. The visual being a consequence of the interaction taking place at that time. This is the antithesis of stage choreographed tango destined to entertain a seated audience. Although it can seem beautiful to onlookers, the dance is totally private and belongs to the dancing couple.

inspiratum wishes equally to invite dancers to progress toward a form of Geido* which would be an integrating space of centered arts (Dance, Music, Dao Yin-Chi Kung  and Zen meditation).

*in Japanese Geido means: "The way of the arts".
