Richard Sagala has received formal training in classical music in Canada and in France. A certified music teacher, Richard has obtained various musical diplomas including a first prize ( "premier prix") from the Quebec Conservatory of Music. Passionate about
music and dance,
Richard Sagala has previously studied ballroom dancing (1990-1999) before discovering Argentine Tango in 1999. Seeing in tango a new form of musical expression, Richard has pursued it relentlessly ever since studying and training with the best reputable teachers and artists worldwide. A practitioner of centered arts, Richard has equally studied: Kyudo, Tai Chi, DaoYin-Chi Kung, Pilates, and Zen meditation. So far,
Richard has taught argentine tango in Canada, USA and China,
offering private tango lessons, group classes and themed workshops. Richard Sagala teaches equally
Qigong in the filiation of the Sanyiquan school.
