Dear Richard and Felicia,
Thank you very much for the performance. Everybody
enjoyed tango during the evening. Mr. Catena and his wife were particularly
impressed.
I am sending you couple of pics and let me know if you
need more.
When would you like to come to the office to receive
2000RMB?
I am looking forward to seeing you soon.
Kind regards,
Anna

Hola
superbe workshop on musicality last Sunday thanks to Richard and
Felicia working an excellent pair.
I decided to bring Lily, my friend's 8 year old daughter along. She
loves dancing. And I love tango. I've been telling her about tango
for a long year now. So she came along. (We had matching outfits...)
Well, she was brave. And picked up super fast on the musicality of
tango. She was especially serious while dancing the leader part. She
led me on the beat, the half beats, and led me to the side step
without hesitation, the whole song. She's on fire. Her mother tells
me she hasn't stopped talking about tango since then. She'll be back
in the classes (daytime.)
It's natural for children to learn languages. And dance is one
extatic intimate expressive language. It's amazing.
Thanks for having the patience to be around a child.

papers: how to correct the twelve most common mistakes in Argentine Tango
Richard
My husband and I had a brief stay in Beijing
in
May/June/July and found this website, visited one
evening. Hence, I registered for this group.
I read your advice on mistakes in tango - it is
well written and I am sharing it with my tango
teacher here in Buffalo, New York. We have a
growing AT community here. www.buffalotango.com
if you are ever in Western New York. :)

Dear Felicia and Richard,
On behalf of Bruce and Carol, I
want to let you know that we three have thoroughly enjoyed the Tango lessons
that we have taken with you so far. The teaching has been excellent and
extremely helpful. We are looking forward to the next lesson.
However, there is one factor that
is a bit of a concern. As the three of us are all teachers at local
universities, we are on quite limited budgets. While the Tango lessons
are relatively expensive, we believe that it is worth the cost as the quality
of the teaching is also high. However, having to pay a cover charge on
top of the lesson fee is financially infeasible for the three of us.
Although we realize that the Milonga is voluntary, without staying to practice
after the lesson, the concepts we learned would be quickly forgotten.
Would you be able to negotiate
with the bar so that students who pay for the class are exempt from the cover
for the Milonga? In our experience with other Tango and non-Tango dance
lessons around Beijing,
this has been the common practice. We would so appreciate your help in
this matter as we have truly enjoyed Tango so far and are looking forward to
being able to continue lessons with you.
Thank you for your help.
Peace,
naomi

Hola a todos
Ladies especially—hear this:
I highly recommend taking walking classes with Richard. People comment
my legs look good since I started practicing the Richard tango walk.
And I'm talking about, a nice feminine leg, looking gazelle-good in a
skirt and a pair of high heels!
But narcissism aside, the last workshop felt good on the feet-legs-
hip. I manage to cure my wobbly-ankle problem!
Thanks Richard :)
